The first contact for all warranty claims is the KETTLER ALU-RAD specialist dealer you bought the item from.

There is a limitation for E-bike batteries: Since batteries are considered wear parts, the mandatory warranty period for these is 6 months. However, KETTLER ALU-RAD offers an additional voluntary extension of the warranty of 24 months for the battery if the problem is due to defects of material or craftsmanship. The voluntary warranty extension does not include labour costs or transport costs for refitting. It is limited to replacement or repair of the defective part.

The warranty does not generally cover accident damage, defects from wear and vandalism damage.

The warranty generally only applies to the first purchaser of the affected bike. It cannot be transferred.

The warranty shall not generally include accident damage, defects from wear or damage from vandalism.

If a warranty service is used, this will not extend or restart the warranty term.

Submission of the completed warranty declaration with the dealer's stamp and the purchasing receipt are absolutely necessary. Otherwise, immediate and positive warranty completion will not be possible.

The manufacturer reserves the right to refuse a warranty service if the required documents are not submitted with the part subject to complaint.

A warranty claim must always be asserted towards an authorised KETTLER ALU-RAD specialist dealer (best towards the dealer who sold the item). You may also call our service hotline or email us.

The warranty/guarantee shall not include any of the following:

• Accidents or other circumstances over which the manufacturer has no control;

• Repairs by third parties or repairs in a bicycle workshop not authorised by the manufacturer;

• Bicycles where the frame number has been changed, removed or rendered illegible.

In case of a warranty claim, KETTLER ALU-RAD shall have the right to repair or replace the defective parts at its discretion. If a part of the same type, size or colour is no longer available, KETTLER ALU-RAD may provide a part that can be considered the successor part to meet the warranty claim. The warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. No further claims can be asserted.

A warranty time exceeding the statutory warranty shall only include the defective part. Required labour or arising postage and packaging expenses shall be at the buyer's expense.

The warranty shall not apply either if any changes to the original construction have been made, the bike is not used as intended or was exposed to any other excessive stress. There shall also not be any claims in case of late damage resulting from preceding falls or accidents.

There shall be no warranty claim for any damage caused by incompatible or unsuitable attachments.
